Check-in, children, pets, parties, the pool and sauna, the road and company invoices: the questions guests ask most.
How many guests can stay?
The three-bedroom apartment sleeps up to 12, the four-bedroom apartment up to 14, and the whole property up to 26.
We are only two to four. Can we stay?
Yes. Book one apartment and we close off the bedrooms you do not need, for a lower price. Send us your dates and we will reply with an offer.
When are check-in and check-out?
Check-in is from 16:00 to 22:00 and check-out by 10:00. Please let us know your arrival time in advance.
Are the apartments in the same building?
No, each apartment has its own building. The pool and the outdoor areas are shared.
How many bathrooms are there?
Five: three in the three-bedroom apartment and two in the four-bedroom apartment.
Can we bring children?
Yes, children of any age are welcome. There are no cots or extra beds.
Can we book the whole property?
Yes, by inquiry: send us your dates, group size and plans, and we will reply with an offer.
Can we organise an event here?
Of course. Send us your dates, group size and plans, for one apartment or the whole property. We may be able to offer a full 24 hours, for example from 12:00 to 12:00 the next day, so you can make the most of your stay.
Can we rent for one night?
Yes, ask us about a one-night stay with early check-in and late check-out.
Are gatherings and parties allowed?
Yes, by prior agreement: birthdays, anniversaries, stag and hen weekends are welcome. There are neighbours nearby, so quiet hours are from 22:00 to 7:00. For larger gatherings a security deposit applies, paid in person.
Is smoking allowed?
Not indoors. There is a designated smoking area outside.
Are pets allowed?
Yes, on request: up to two well-behaved pets per apartment. A pet fee applies.
When is the pool open?
From June to September, depending on the weather. It is not heated. Please supervise children around the pool.
Is there a sauna?
Yes, a traditional wood-fired sauna, prepared on request for a small surcharge.
Is it warm in winter?
Yes. Both apartments have floor heating, and each has a fireplace for the evenings.
How do we get there?
About half an hour by car from Ljubljana. The last 3 km is a gravel road with some steeper sections: fine for a regular car driven with care in normal weather, easier with higher ground clearance, tricky in snow.
Can you pick us up in Polhov Gradec?
Yes. If you come without a car, or the road is snowy in winter, we can pick you up in Polhov Gradec and take you back. Please check with us before you arrive: a fee may apply, depending on the number of guests.
Is there a shop nearby?
Not on the property. Polhov Gradec, about 5 km away, has grocery stores.
Can we drink the water?
Yes, the property has its own natural spring drinking water. It is not chlorinated.
Is parking free?
Yes. WiFi is free too.
Can our company get an invoice?
Yes, we invoice companies for stays, team building and events.
Is the tourist tax included in the price?
The total shown before you book includes all fees and the tourist tax.
